A variety of tests are given to students at Daniel High each year as required by state law. These sometimes change from year to year, but include the ACT and the Work Keys tests which are given to juniors in the spring. Most juniors also choose to take the SAT and many juniors and sophomores take the PSAT. Students also have the opportunity to take the ASVAB and COMPASS tests. The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test should be taken by anyone considering a career in the military, while the COMPASS test is needed for students planning to attend a technical school.
The SAT tests will be administered at Daniel on November 5, December 3, January 21, and again on May 6 of this school year. Please contact the Guidance Department if you have questions. More information can also be found at the College Board website.
